As the very nature of our works can present changing and varied health & safety hazards to our workforce and the public, all works are carefully planned and managed to ensure that the risks arising from such hazards are kept as low as possible.

OHSAS 18001

Our accreditation to the OHSAS 18001 standard for Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems ensures that we provide a safe working environment for our employees and anyone else affected by our works.

We employ a Health & Safety Professional as part of our Senior Management team, who is a member of the Association for Project Safety (the recognised health & safety association for the Construction industry in the UK), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), and the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (IIRSM), ensuring we are up-to-date with all the latest legislative requirements.

All of our works are carefully planned and carried out to ensure we are compliant with all necessary health & safety legislation, such as the CDM Regulations 2015, Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Work at Height Regulations 2005, etc.

Demolition Phase Health & Safety Plans, which include Risk Assessments and Method Statements, are carefully prepared and specifically tailored to each unique contract to ensure risks are minimised, suitable control measures and precautions are taken and that our on-site demolition teams are in possession of the health & safety information they need. We also operate “Permit to Work” systems for high hazard works such as “Hot Works” and “Work at Height”. We are happy to provide examples of documentation from previous projects on request and complete pre-qualification questionnaires.
